HALLOWEEN!!!

 (classe II A Scientifico)

IT BEGAN ON A VERY COLD NIGHT…

I was looking out of the window: the snow was falling from the dark sky,
it was very cold and a frosty wind was blowing.
I looked up when I saw a lot of black spiders falling from the ceiling.
I ran to the door but it was blocked so I could’t leave the room.
I heard a terrible noise from the corridor: somebody was screaming!
I was looking for the key when I opened the wardrobe and I saw a skeleton. Something grabbed me from the back: everything became dark…

When I opened my eyes, it was morning.

THE HUNTED HOUSE

On a very cold night, two guys decided to go into a abandoned house that was famous for being hunted and because one year a boy got missing in that place. They explored the house with a torch, there were scaring noises and voices. The house was huge and old and they found a lot of human bones and of scaring bats. They ventured to the ground floor and to the first floor, then they heard a scream from above. When they arrived there, they saw a red light at the end of corridor. It was moving in their direction… suddendly a human figure began to chase theim. It was horrible, possedded by demons. In the grip of panic, they rushed from abandoned house and went back home.

HORROR STORY

It all began on a very cold night, right after midnight. The party had just finished and I started going back home. I was walking along an empty street with a small torch in my hand, when suddenly I heard a male voice behind me: “Run”. I didn’t turn around and started running. I turned at the corner of a strange, dilapidated house. There was an old man on the ground with an axe protruding from his chest, and a man with bloody hands was standing near him. I screamed and closed my eyes. The moment I opened them I realized I was in my room. Luckily it was a dream.

A boy of ice

It all began on a very cold time, in a hamlet where there was a boy called Ice by everyone because he had a boundless passion for this element. In Winter his hamlet was entirely covered with snow to the point that nobody could understand where the land ended and where the rivers began. Everything was frozen. He liked being dozzled by all that whiteness and feeling the cold on his face. His heart was of ice, too. He had never loved anybody and nobody had ever loved him. One day he set off and walked up to lose himself in the middle of that huge iceland.
Nobody saw him anymore...

  Halloween

I was sleeping when the wind started blowing outside. It was around 3 a.m. when the slamming and cracking of the shutter woke me up. I tried to sleep but I couldn’t, so I decided check my phone. When I unlocked the screen, the gallery was open and there was a picture of me, sleeping. It had that day’s date. I was scared so I went downstairs to ask my mum for an explanation but when I put my hand on the lightswitcher another hand was already there……

A BAD DREAM

It all began on a very cold night . I was waiting for the bus for Cecina. It was freezing that halloween night and the sky was so dark it scared me. If the bus hadn’t been so late, I wouldn’t have become a icicle. Just arrived in Cecina, I went towards an abandoned house, near to the cemetry, were my friends were waiting for me with much anxiety,’ cause we had to get into that cold building. But when I was in the center of Cecina, I met my Italian teacher: Costanza Fratini. She said aloud :” Pietro, what are you doing? What are you doing on Halloween night?” I answered, scared and trembling for the wind: “ I have to meet my friends in an abandoned house!” As soon as I finished, she said to me :”oh n,o do you know what do you have to do now?” this sentence scared me more and more.”you have to repeat to me the last topic of Latin !” Muuuhahaha!
Confused and petrified, I started to run fast, bur she ran after me , with a dictionary of Latin in a hand and a saber in the other, screaming: “Where are you going! Is, ea, id; eius eius eius! Do you remember this pronouns” :”NOOOOOOOOO!!!”. And immediately afterwards, luckily, I woke up.

HALLOWEEN

A strange painting

It all began on a very cold night of October, the last day of October. The Steuard brothers, Josh and Stephy, were walking in the streets of London, looking for a hostel to spend the night. They went into a small and building. Above it, there was a sloppy sign with written ‘hostel’. They were welcomed by a tall pale man with red eyes who lead them into their room. Before falling asleep, they noticed a painting in front of the bed, representing the receptionist and a woman. The next morning, , Josh woke up feeling strange. Stephy wasn’t there and the sheets were all red; he immediately turned around and saw a knife in the wall, the woman in the painting had disappeared.

The legend of Jack’O lantern.

Some years ago, an old miser drunk blacksmith lived in Ireland, his name was Jack. The night of Halloween, he met the Devil in brewery, and the Devil wanted his soul. So Jack asked cleverly to the Devil one last glass of beer, but the Devil didn’t have enough money to pay and turned in a six pence coin. Jack caught the Davil and put him into his pocket near a silver cross to prevent his transformation. Jack made a deal with the Devil : Jack would free him, if the Devil didn’t come back to take Jack’s soul for ten years. The Devil accepted this deal. Ten years later, Jack met the Devil, and managed to escape the power of the darkness prince. The Devil promised that he would never look for him again. When Jack died, he wasn’t admitted in Heaven as he was a sinner, and he had to knock at the doors of Hell. The Devil, however, had promised not to take his soul, and sent him away, threatening him with an ember. Jack used it to look for a place to stay and put it into a turnip. They say Jack will wander around with his light until the day of judgment.

In the 1845s a lot of Irish peopke had to migrate to the U.S.A. and brought this legend with them. As there were no turnips in America, they replaced it with pumpkins. Now, Jack o’lantern is the most famous symbol of Halloween.

    HALLOWEEN

desiderata o no è sempre divertente.
